about

This upbeat, Indie Rock tune is the result of a band that hails from the suburbs of Sacramento, CA, but whose roots reside in the valleys of the Sierra Nevada. With retro guitar fills, booming drums, and a ripping’ piano solo, it embodies the contrast between their life in the city, and what beckons them back to the tranquility of moon-scaped peaks and forgotten mountain lakes. The song balances the upbeat energy of the choruses with softer, melancholy verses.

Three of the four members of the band are from towns of fewer than 3000 people. This song has much to do with returning to those same towns and feeling lost or out of place, only to gain comfort once again after spending days in the High Sierra under rain and thunder.

Loch Leven is the third single from the band's upcoming album Heavysong. Additionally, It will be followed by an official Music Video which was shot in key locations throughout the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
